Indra and Soma, purging the gathered mass, warmed like a fire-bearing one. In the fierce wrath of Brahman you will see terrible eyes of enmity; what is this day’s foe?
Indra and Soma, fall upon the destructive (rākṣasa) and the performer of unprofitable acts, so that, consumed (by your wrath), he may perish like the offering cast into the fire; retain implacable hatred to the haterof brāhmaṇas, the cannibal, the hideous, the vile (rākṣasa).
Indra and Soma, let sin round the wicked boil like as a caldron set amid the flames of fire. Against the foe of prayer, devourer of raw flesh, the vile fiend fierce of eye, keep ye perpetual hate.
