Drive away the stones of heaven, Indra, the Soma-drunk, noble, abundant in wealth, conquer the hostile ones who came from before and behind, from below and above; strike down the demons by the mountain.
Hurl, Indra, your thunderbolt from heaven; sanctify, Maghavan, (the worshipper) sharpened by theSoma; slay with the thunderbolt the rākṣasas, on the eas, on the west, on the south, on the north.
Hurl down from heaven thy bolt of stone, O Indra: sharpen it, Maghavan, made keen by Soma. Forward, behind, and from above and under, smite down the demons with thy rocky weapon.
