tisro vācaḥ pra vada jyotiragrā yā etadduhre madhudoghamūdhaḥ sa vatsaṃ kṛṇvangarbhamoṣadhīnāṃ sadyo jāto vṛṣabho roravīti
Threefold was the word spoken—light foremost—this milk and curd and whey flowed. He made the calf, the womb of herbs; instantly born the bull lowed and roared.
Recite the three sacred texts, preceded by light, which milk the water- yielding udder; for he, theshowerer, (thereby) becoming quickly manifest, loudly roars, engendering the (lightning) infant, the embryo of theplants.
SPEAK forth three words, the words which light precedeth, which milk this udder that produceth nectar. Quickly made manifest, the Bull hath bellowed, engendering the germ of plants, the Infant.
