tvaṃ viṣṇo sumatiṃ viśvajanyāmaprayutāmevayāvo matiṃ dāḥ parco yathā naḥ suvitasya bhūreraśvāvataḥ puruścandrasya rāyaḥ
You, Vishnu, grant good thought; may all people not turn it aside—give your mind to the herds as when the ample steeds of Puruṣa Chandra spread the dominion.
Viṣṇu, granter of desires, show to us that favourable disposition which is benevolent to all, unmixed(with exception), so that there may be to us the attainment of easily-acquire, ample, steed-comprising,all-delighting riches.
Thou, Visnu, constant in thy courses, gavest good-will to all men, and a hymn that lasteth, That thou mightst move us to abundant comfort of very splendid wealth with store of horses.
