उप॒ यमेति॑ युव॒तिः सु॒दक्षं॑ दो॒षा वस्तो॑र्ह॒विष्म॑ती घृ॒ताची॑ । उप॒ स्वैन॑म॒रम॑तिर्वसू॒युः
upa yameti yuvatiḥ sudakṣaṃ doṣā vastorhaviṣmatī ghṛtācī upa svainamaramatirvasūyuḥ
The maiden approaches thee, Agni, skilled, with no fault; the plentiful gift of oblation and ghee; to her own spouse she returns, rejoicing in wealth.
Whom vigorous, the young damsel (the ladle) charged with the oblation, presenting the melted butter,day and night approaches; him, his own lustre approaches, favourable to (the bestowal of) wealth.
To whom, the Strong, at morn and eve comes, maid-like, the ladle dropping oil, with its oblation. Wealth-seeking comes to him his own devotion.
