Rise for me now, great Agni; thou art a god of valorous gifts to the generous. May night and twilight be protective for us; may you bestow prosperities and always auspicious well-being upon us.

Bestow upon me, Agni, quickly, abundant wholesome food; send sustenance, divine Agni, to those whoare opulent in oblations; may we, both (priests and employer), be comprehended in your munificence; do youever cherish us with blessings.

Give strength and power to these my prayers, O Agni; O God, pour blessings on our chiefs and nobles. Grant that both we and they may share thy bounty. Ye Gods, protect us evermore with blessings.
