Born he went forth into the supreme heaven; the steadfast Agni watched over the ordinances of vow. The skilful, radiant Vaishvānara touched the lofty firmament with his nostrils on the day of the month.

That Agni who, as soon as born in the highest heaven, the protector of sacred rites, protects the pious acts (of men), he has made he manifold firmament; vaiśvānara, the performer of good deeds, has attained heaven by his greatness.

That Agni, when in loftiest heaven he sprang to life, Guardian of Holy Laws, kept and observed them well. Exceeding wise, he measured out the firmament. Vaisvanara attained to heaven by mightiness.
