श्रु॒ष्टी वां॑ य॒ज्ञ उद्य॑तः स॒जोषा॑ मनु॒ष्वद्वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषो॒ यज॑ध्यै । आ य इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णावि॒षे अ॒द्य म॒हे सु॒म्नाय॑ म॒ह आ॑व॒वर्त॑त्
śruṣṭī vāṃ yajña udyataḥ sajoṣā manuṣvadvṛktabarhiṣo yajadhyai ā ya indrāvaruṇāviṣe adya mahe sumnāya maha āvavartat
The sacrificer’s rite rose for your hearing, O peoples’ brahmins of sacrifice, to be offered. Today Indra-Varuna have turned mightily toward the well-ordered, the excellent, and have arisen.
Mighty Indra and Varuṇa, promptly has the Soma returned, engaged conscientiously (with the priests) to offer sacrifice to you to obtain food for him by whom, like Manu, the sacred grass has been clipped; he who (invited you hither) today for exceeding happiness.
HIS honouring rite whose grass is trimmed is offered swiftly to you, in Manu's wise, accordant, The rite which Indra-Varuna shall carry this day to high success and glorious issue.
