ता जि॒ह्वया॒ सद॒मेदं सु॑मे॒धा आ यद्वां॑ स॒त्यो अ॑र॒तिरृ॒ते भूत् । तद्वां॑ महि॒त्वं घृ॑तान्नावस्तु यु॒वं दा॒शुषे॒ वि च॑यिष्ट॒मंहः॑
tā jihvayā sadamedaṃ sumedhā ā yadvāṃ satyo aratirṛte bhūt tadvāṃ mahitvaṃ ghṛtānnāvastu yuvaṃ dāśuṣe vi cayiṣṭamaṃhaḥ
With tongue they have spoken this true counsel, O Wise One: may truth be without deceit in you. May your greatness, your clarified food, be for the people; may you grant the appointed share.
The wise man always (solicits) you his prayers for this (supply of water), when approaching you sincer in sacrifice; may your magnanimity be such that you, the feeders upon ghī, may exterminate sin in the donor (of the oblation);
So with your tongue come ever, when your envoy, faithful and very wise, attends our worship. Nourished by holy oil! he this yGur glory: annihilate the sacrificer's trouble.
