They proclaim a wonderful dawn for the Marut, resplendent in their assembly, Bharadvaja. Those who uphold with might endure with force; O Agni, you rule the earth from the heights.
Offer to the loud-sounding, quick-moving, self-invigorating company of the Maruts, excellent (sacrificial) food; (to them) who overcome strength by strength; the earth trembles, Agni, at the adorable (Maruts).
Bring a bright hymn to praise the band of Maruts, the Singers, rapid, strong in native vigour, Who conquer mighty strength with strength more mighty: earth shakes in terror at their wars, O Agni.
