इ॒यम॑ददाद्रभ॒समृ॑ण॒च्युतं॒ दिवो॑दासं वध्र्य॒श्वाय॑ दा॒शुषे॑ । या शश्व॑न्तमाच॒खादा॑व॒सं प॒णिं ता ते॑ दा॒त्राणि॑ तवि॒षा स॑रस्वति
iyamadadādrabhasamṛṇacyutaṃ divodāsaṃ vadhryaśvāya dāśuṣe yā śaśvantamācakhādāvasaṃ paṇiṃ tā te dātrāṇi taviṣā sarasvati
This gave, beginning the unbroken (stream), the undying, the shining giver from heaven to the swift horses of the lord of hosts; she who nourishes the everlasting, Sarasvatī, gave you sustaining waters and streams.
She gave to the donor of the oblations, Vadhryaśva, a son Divodāsa endowed with speed, and acquitting the debt (due to gods and progenitors), she who destroyed the churlis niggard, (thinking) only of himself, such are your bounties, Sarasvatī.
To Vadhryasva when. be worshipped her with gifts she gave fierce Divodasa, canceller of debts. Consumer of the churlish niggard, one and all, thine, O Sarasvati, are these effectual boons.
