You, O Chitra, who fashion many forms and contemplate forms for me, most radiant star, most excellent of forms among the Vayodhāmas — the moons and the shining heroes call you “Chandra” with the light of youth.
Wonderful Agni, of wonderful strength, bestower of delight, grant to us, and to him who praises you with gratifying (praises), wonderful, most wonderful riches, conferring fame, supplying food, comprehending male descendants,d electable and infinite.
Wondrous! of wondrous power! give to the singer wealth wondrous, marked, most wonderful, life-giving. Wealth bright, O Bright One, vast, with many heroes, give with thy bright flames to the man who lauds thee.
