You offered another day’s bright ritual; the heavens accepted it by day and night; all illusions are as your magic—Pūṣan, may good things be yours tonight and morn.
One of your forms, (Pūṣan), is luminous, one is venerable; so that the day is variously complexioned; for you are like the sun; verily, bestower of food, you protect all intelligence; may your auspicious liberality be manifested on this occasion.
LIKE heaven art thou: one form is bright, one holy, like Day and Night dissimilar in colour. All magic powers thou aidest, self-depen. dent! Auspicious be thy bounty here, O Pusan.
