ā no devaḥ savitā trāyamāṇo hiraṇyapāṇiryajato jagamyāt yo datravām̐ uṣaso na pratīkaṃ vyūrṇute dāśuṣe vāryāṇi
May the gods Savitar, bearing golden hands, moving with sacrifice, protect our waters. He who bestows dawn and does not withhold the token of the east—grant the streams and favorable days.
May the adorable, golden-handed Savitā, the preserver, come to us; he, the munificent, who, like the opening of the dawn, displays desirable (riches) to the offerer of the oblation.
May Savitar come hither and approach us, the God who rescues, Holy, goldenhanded, The God who, bounteous as the face of Morning, discloses precious gifts for him who worships.
