pathaspathaḥ paripatiṃ vacasyā kāmena kṛto abhyānaḷarkam sa no rāsacchurudhaścandrāgrā dhiyaṃdhiyaṃ sīṣadhāti pra pūṣā
Paths and byways encircle the wide word, made by desire, the kindled flame. May he grant us wealth, the bold one, the shining moon, the source of intellect, Pūṣā incline our thought.
May (the worshipper), influenced by the hope (of reward), approach with praise the adorable (Pūṣan), protector of all path; may he bestow upon us cows with golden horns; may Pūṣan bring to perfection our every rite.
I praise with eloquence him who guards all pathways. He, when his love impelled him, went to Arka. May he vouchsafe us gear with gold to grace it: may Pusan make each prayer of ours efective.
