वा॒मी वा॒मस्य॑ धूतयः॒ प्रणी॑तिरस्तु सू॒नृता॑ । दे॒वस्य॑ वा मरुतो॒ मर्त्य॑स्य वेजा॒नस्य॑ प्रयज्यवः
vāmī vāmasya dhūtayaḥ praṇītirastu sūnṛtā devasya vā maruto martyasya vejānasya prayajyavaḥ
May the left and the left-hand rites be cleansed; be the vow established, O falsehood removed. Whether divine or Marut, let them be devoted, abandoning the mortal's fetters.
Maruts, agitators, especially to be adored, may your kind and true speech be our conductress; that plural asant (speech which is the guide) to desirable (wealth) for both gods and sacrificing mortals.
May the kind excellence of him the Kind, loud Roarers! be our guide, Be it the God's, O Maruts, or a mortal man's who worships, ye impetuous Ones!
