This sky and earth became his; this chariot with seven rays yoked the steeds. This Soma held firm within the cows as ripened milk; he sustained the tenfold equipment and poured forth.
This (Soma) has been fixed heaven and earth; this has harnessed the seven-rayed chariot (of the sun); this Soma has developed of its own will the mature deeply-organized secretion in the kind.
He stayed and held the heaven and earth asunder: the chariot with the sevenfold reins he harnessed. This Soma Set with power within the milch-kine a spring whose ripe contents ten fingers empty.
