mā jasvane vṛṣabha no rarīthā mā te revataḥ sakhye riṣāma pūrvīṣṭa indra niṣṣidho janeṣu jahyasuṣvīnpra vṛhāpṛṇataḥ
Do not let the bull (might) in contest vanquish us; do not let friendship fall away from thy companions. Formerly invoked, Indra restrained among people; O gentle leader, make them leapers by mighty favor.
Give us not up, showerer (of benefits), to the obstructor (of our rites); relying upon the friendship of you, lord of riches, may we be unharmed; many are the hindrances (opposed) to you among men; slay those who make no libations, root out those who present no offerings.
Give us not up, Strong Hero! to the hungry: unharmed be we whom thou, so rich, befriendest. Full many a boon hast thou for men demolish those who present no gifts nor pour oblations.
