sa rāyaskhāmupa sṛjā gṛṇānaḥ puruścandrasya tvamindra vasvaḥ patirbabhūthāsamo janānāmeko viśvasya bhuvanasya rājā
He, giver of wealth, sent down the sky and the people of the bright moon; you, O Indra Vasva, became the husband of the folk—one lord of the world, king of the universe and its realms.
Glorified by us, Indra, let flow the stream of much delighting, home-conferring affluence, for you are the unequalled lord of men, the sole sovereign of all the world.
Lauded by us, let flow the spring, O Indra, of excellent and brightly-shining riches. For thou art Lord of men, without an equal: of all the world thou art the only Sovran.
