तं स॒ध्रीची॑रू॒तयो॒ वृष्ण्या॑नि॒ पौंस्या॑नि नि॒युतः॑ सश्चु॒रिन्द्र॑म् । स॒मु॒द्रं न सिन्ध॑व उ॒क्थशु॑ष्मा उरु॒व्यच॑सं॒ गिर॒ आ वि॑शन्ति
taṃ sadhrīcīrūtayo vṛṣṇyāni pauṃsyāni niyutaḥ saścurindram samudraṃ na sindhava ukthaśuṣmā uruvyacasaṃ gira ā viśanti
That throng with firm chariot-bands, beating the drums, set Indra in array. The ocean, not the river, the songs and warmth enter widely into the mountain.
The associated Maruts, heroic energies, virile strength, and the Niyut steeds, attend upon Indra, and praises powerful in sacred song centre in him as rivers flow into the ocean.
Associate with him, as teams of horses, help, manly might, and vigour follow Indra. As rivers reach the sea, so, strong with praises, our holy songs reach him the Comprehensive.
