नू॒नं न॑ इन्द्राप॒राय॑ च स्या॒ भवा॑ मृळी॒क उ॒त नो॑ अ॒भिष्टौ॑ । इ॒त्था गृ॒णन्तो॑ म॒हिन॑स्य॒ शर्म॑न्दि॒वि ष्या॑म॒ पार्ये॑ गो॒षत॑माः
nūnaṃ na indrāparāya ca syā bhavā mṛḷīka uta no abhiṣṭau itthā gṛṇanto mahinasya śarmandivi ṣyāma pārye goṣatamāḥ
Surely there shall be none above Indra; may you become the protector of our wishes. Thus the people lauded his grandeur in heaven and named the best of herds in the neighbouring pastures.
Do you, Indra, now and at (all) other times be verily ours; be the bestower of happiness according to our condition; and in this maner, worshipping at dawn, and glorifying you, may we abide in the brilliant and unbounded felicity of you who are mighty.
Be ours, O Indra, now and for the future, be graciously inclined and near to help us. Thus may we, singing, sheltered by the Mighty, win many cattle on the day of trial.
