You are not merely famed among Indra‑poets; friend, long‑lived and life‑giver, grow mighty on the earth. Those who fight for you in the ranks make many roads and strong enclosures.
Do you, Indra, who are all-pervading, be a friend, and a protector with irreproachable protections for our prosperity; when warring in number-thinning conflicts, we invoke you for the acquisition of wealth.
Indra, befriend us with no scanty succour, prosper and aid us, Loved of all that liveth, When, fighting for the sunlight, we invoke thee, O Hero, in the fray, in war's division.
