प्र॒जाव॑तीः सू॒यव॑सं रि॒शन्तीः॑ शु॒द्धा अ॒पः सु॑प्रपा॒णे पिब॑न्तीः । मा वः॑ स्ते॒न ई॑शत॒ माघशं॑सः॒ परि॑ वो हे॒ती रु॒द्रस्य॑ वृज्याः
prajāvatīḥ sūyavasaṃ riśantīḥ śuddhā apaḥ suprapāṇe pibantīḥ mā vaḥ stena īśata māghaśaṃsaḥ pari vo hetī rudrasya vṛjyāḥ
Fecund, sun-clad, resounding, they are rishis, pure of waters, well-breathing, drinking. May not the thieves touch you; may Rudra’s darts be about you as warders.
May you, cows, have many calves grazing upon good pasture, drinking pure water at accessible ponds; may no thief be your master; no beast of prey (assail you), and may the (fatal) weapon of Rudra avoid you.
Crop goodly pasturage and be prolific drink pure sweet water at good drinking places. Never be thief or sinful man your matter, and may the dart of Rudra still avoid you.
