भुवो॒ जन॑स्य दि॒व्यस्य॒ राजा॒ पार्थि॑वस्य॒ जग॑तस्त्वेषसंदृक् । धि॒ष्व वज्रं॒ दक्षि॑ण इन्द्र॒ हस्ते॒ विश्वा॑ अजुर्य दयसे॒ वि मा॒याः
bhuvo janasya divyasya rājā pārthivasya jagatastveṣasaṃdṛk dhiṣva vajraṃ dakṣiṇa indra haste viśvā ajurya dayase vi māyāḥ
Lord of the divine world and of the earthly king, he beholds the universe; with wisdom he grasped the bolt in his right hand; he threw it, dispelling illusion.
Bright-flaming Indra, you are the king of the people of heaven, and of the moving races of earth; grasp in your right hand the thunderbolt, wherewith, Indra, who are beyond all praise, you baffle all the devices (of the asuras).
Of all the Heavenly Folk, of earthly creatures thou art the King, O God of splendid aspect. In thy right hand, O Indra, grasp die thunder: Eternal! thou destroyest all enchantments.
