स इत्तमो॑ऽवयु॒नं त॑त॒न्वत्सूर्ये॑ण व॒युन॑वच्चकार । क॒दा ते॒ मर्ता॑ अ॒मृत॑स्य॒ धामेय॑क्षन्तो॒ न मि॑नन्ति स्वधावः
sa ittamo'vayunaṃ tatanvatsūryeṇa vayunavaccakāra kadā te martā amṛtasya dhāmeyakṣanto na minanti svadhāvaḥ
He, the highest, joined the youthful vigor to the radiant sun; when will mortals behold the realm of the immortal, not diminishing in their course?
He who made the indistinct, wide-spreading darkness distinct with the sun; whenever, possessor of strength, mortals are seeking to adore the dwelling of you who are an immortal, they harm not (any living being).
He hath made pathways, with the Sun to aid him, throughout the darkness that extended pathless. Mortals who yearn to worship ne'er dishonour, O Mighty God, thy Law who art Immortal.
