These rites for you, foremost among men, what priestly offering is worthy? The heroic to be offered, the invigorating new wealth—may speech declare the mighty glory in the chariot-throne.
These earnest adorations of the much-desiring worshipper glorify you, hero, Indra, who are adorable; mounted on your car, undecaying, ever new, and to whom the wealth (of sacrifice), the most excellent opulence, proceeds.
THESE the most constant singer's invocations call thee who art to be invoked, O Hero; Hymns call anew the chariot-borne, Eternal: by eloquence men gain abundant riches.
