If, O Indra, thy hosts had not been all-assembled, the praises and the molten hymn would not have been laid upon thee. May Soma be kind to you; the singers, the bearers of fear-dispelling rites, praise with holy chants and oblations.
All this, Indra, has been your work in war; you have put to sleep, (in depth), the slumbering Dhunī and Cumurī; and thereupon Dabhīti, pouring the libation, preparing the oblation, and supplying the fuel, has glorified you with Soma offerings.
This Indra, was thy work in war: thou sentest Dhuni and Cumuri to sleep and slumber. Dabhiti lit the flame for thee, and worshipped with fuel, hymns, poured Soma, dressed oblations.
