स म॒ज्मना॒ जनि॑म॒ मानु॑षाणा॒मम॑र्त्येन॒ नाम्नाति॒ प्र स॑र्स्रे । स द्यु॒म्नेन॒ स शव॑सो॒त रा॒या स वी॒र्ये॑ण॒ नृत॑मः॒ समो॑काः
sa majmanā janima mānuṣāṇāmamartyena nāmnāti pra sarsre sa dyumnena sa śavasota rāyā sa vīryeṇa nṛtamaḥ samokāḥ
He, begetting men by his firm fame, is named by mortals; with heaven and the abode of the dead he is celebrated. By his splendour, by heroic vigour, the rites were accomplished alike.
With immortal, foe-humiliating might he has promoted the (multiplied) birth of mankind; he, the chief of leaders, dwells in the same dwelling with fame, with strength, with riches, with heroism.
He in his might, with name that lives for ever, hath far surpassed all human generations. He, most heroic, hath his home with splendour, with glory and with riches and with valour.
