The great tooth bit, O powerful one, the wide pasture they sought; the dew they gathered beneath for the daughter of the gods. Mothers, remember the sacred order and the ritual’s steadfast law.
You have filled the wide earth, Indra. With (the power of) your deeds; you, the mighty one, have propped up the vast heaven; you have sustained the heaven and earth, whose children are the gods, (and who are) the old and mighty parents of sacrifice.
Thou hast spread out wide earth, a mighty marvel, and, high thyself, propped lofty heaven, O Indra. Both worlds, whose Sons are Gods, thou hast supported, young, Mothers from old time ofholy Order.
