Grant us the wealth of praise and fame; give us the seat andrule, O Indra, the wise among the learned. Bearing the potent song, O Bharadvāja‑born, Indra please come to our side not to depart.

Do you, resplendent Indra, uphold us who are devout, for (the obtaining of) food, of sustenance, of nourishment, of wealth; bestow upon Bharadvāja pious posterity, with numerous attendants; be with us, Indra, every future day.

So, Indra, form us brilliant holy singers for strength, for glory, and for food and riches. Give Bharadvaja hero patrons, Indra Indra, be ours upon the day of trial.
