vardhānyaṃ viśve marutaḥ sajoṣāḥ pacacchataṃ mahiṣām̐ indra tubhyam pūṣā viṣṇustrīṇi sarāṃsi dhāvanvṛtrahaṇaṃ madiramaṃśumasmai
Increase, O Maruts all, with joyful accord; Indra, prepare for thee the cattle of the brave. Pūṣan and Viṣṇu, threefold steeds run—the slayers of Vṛtra—grant me the draught of wine and the sunlight’s share.
For you, Indra, whom all the Maruts, alike plural ased, exalt, may Pūṣan and Viṣṇu dress for you a hundred buffaloes, and to him may the three streams flow with the inebriating, foe-destroying Soma.
He dressed a hundred buffaloes, O Indra, for thee whom all accordant Maruts strengthen. He, Pusan Visnu, poured forth three great vessels to him, the juice that cheers, that slaughters Vrtra.
