They churn this Agni, say the Atharvans — the wise ones probe him. They strike him down, they bring him hither from dark, from the dusky ones.

The priests churn you, Agni, as was done by atharvan, and bring him from the glooms of night wandering deviously, but not bewildered.

Here the arranging priests, as did Atharvan, rub this Agni forth, Whom, not bewildered, as he moved in winding ways, they brought from gloom.
