तम॑ग्ने पास्यु॒त तं पि॑पर्षि॒ यस्त॒ आन॑ट् क॒वये॑ शूर धी॒तिम् । य॒ज्ञस्य॑ वा॒ निशि॑तिं॒ वोदि॑तिं वा॒ तमित्पृ॑णक्षि॒ शव॑सो॒त रा॒या
tamagne pāsyuta taṃ piparṣi yasta ānaṭ kavaye śūra dhītim yajñasya vā niśitiṃ voditiṃ vā tamitpṛṇakṣi śavasota rāyā
That Agni, invoked, desired by him who is a bold poet with thought, brings the wakefulness or the fame of the sacrifice by night; he fills the realm of the dead and the assembly for the people.
You cherish, you protect, Agni, that may who offers worship, hero, to you, the far-seeing; you reward with strength and with riches him (who undertakes) the instrumental tution, (who effects) the accomplishments of the sacrifice.
Him, Agni, thou deliverest and savest who brings him prayer to thee the Wise, O Hero, The end of sacrifice or its inception; yea, thou endowest him with power and riches.
