ā yasmintve svapāke yajatra yakṣadrājansarvatāteva nu dyauḥ triṣadhasthastataruṣo na jaṃho havyā maghāni mānuṣā yajadhyai
He who among you is at the morning rite, the worshipper, protector of kings, indeed the sky encompassing all: triple-placed, the aged do not sacrifice him; the oblations, treasures and men are offered by mortals in the rite.
Adorable and resplendent Agni, to whom, mature in wisdom, the worshipper offers oblations at every sacred rite, do you, who are present in the three (worlds), move with the speed of the traverser (of the sky, the sun), to convey the valuable oblations of men (to the gods).
In thee, most wise, shall Dyaus, for full perfection, King! Holy One! pronounce the call to worship. Found in three places, like the Speeder's footstep, come to present men's riches as oblations!
