May the sound of your praise, O Marut, not fail us; may you, bulls, bestow abundance — these very Maruts are your protectors. By whom the radiant ones endure, the gold-bearing shafts and weapons, the iron of their arms.
Let not the sound (of your approach, Maruts), which is mighty, the announcer of rain,t he shedder of light, diffusive, loud, alarm Evayāmarut; that sound wherewith, overcoming (your foes), you who are self-irradiating, lasting-rayed, ornamented with golden oranaments, self-weaponed, bestowing food, accomplish your functions.
Like your tremendous roar, the rainer with light flashing, strong, speeding, hath made all tremble, Evayamarut, Wherewith victorious ye, self-luminous, press onward, with strong reins, decked with gold, impetuous and well-weaponed.
