To Indra and Agni we offer oblation, grain, dried ghee, pure wines. In the heavens they acclaim broad praise; in the stored foods they acclaim the preserved meats.
The invigorating oblation has been offered, like the Soma-juice expressed by the sounding stones; do you bestow food uponthe pious; great riches upon those who praise you; bestow food also upon those who praise you.
The strength-bestowing offering thus to Indra-Agni hath been paid, as butter, purified by stones. Deal to our princes high renown, deal wealth to those who sing your praise, deal food to those who sing your praise.
