May he who is superior not be harmed by the two; let him be delivered from strict blame. He drinks the portion and rejoices in the distribution; may he look upward with friendly light to the seat of goodness.

He who, in the appointment (of the offerings), presents to the Nāsatyas the most ample (share) of (the sacrificial) food, who gives (them) the largest portion of the viands, secures, by his acts, the welfare of his son, and ever has the advantage of those who light no sacred fires.

He who hath served most often the Nasatyas, and gives the sweetest food at distribution, Furthers with his own holy works his offspring, and ever passes those whose flames ascend not.
