Mighty bulls, fierce lords of heaven and earth, Mitra and Varuṇa drive forth the showers. With variegated clouds they stand and awaken the sky with thunder; by the magic of the god their course pours rain.
Imperial and mighty showerers, lords of heaven and earth, beholders of the universe, you approach, Mitra and Varuṇa, with variegated clouds to hear the sound (of your praises), and cause the sky to (send down) rain by the power of the emitter of showers.
Imperial Kings, strong, Heroes, Lords of earth and heaven, Mitra and Varuna, ye ever active Ones, Ye wait on thunder with the many-tinted clouds, and by the Asura's magic power cause Heaven to rain.
