That Agni who is wealth, whom the cows bring home, who summons the assemblies—mighty, swift, born of noble stock, bring him praise and load him with gifts.
He is Agni, who is praised as the giver of dwellings, to whom the kine, the light-faced steeds, the well-born, devout worshippers repair; do you Agni, bring food to your adorers.
'Tis Agni whom we laud as good, to whom the milch-kine come in herds, To whom the chargers swift of foot, to whom our well-born princes come. Bring food to those who sing thy praise.
