mimātu dyauraditirvītaye naḥ saṃ dānucitrā uṣaso yatantām ācucyavurdivyaṃ kośameta ṛṣe rudrasya maruto gṛṇānāḥ
Hear this: the sky and earth have yielded; let notable ones not strive with the dawning light. They proclaimed the divine treasure—these Rudra-like maruts invoked the hosts.
May the heaven and the earth yield (rain) for our sustenance; may the wonderfully bounteous dawns exert themselves (for our good); may these sons of Rudra, lauded, Ṛṣi, (by you), send down the celestial rain.
May Dyaus, the Infinite, roar for our banquet: may Dawns toil for us, glittering with moisture. Lauded by thee, these Maruts, Sons o Rudra, O Rsi, have sent down the heavenly treasure.
