You are lords of assemblies, kings, begetters, making wealth arise as priests; from you our host, Marut the hero, bears the companion who is your supporter.

Adorable Maruts, you cause (a son) to be born to the man (who worships you), a ruler, an over-comer of foes, and modelled by Vibhvan; from you, Maruts, comes a valiant descendant, strong-fisted, mighty armed; from you (he acquires) an excellent steed.

Ye raise up for the folk an active ruler whom, Holy Ones! a Master's hand hath fashioned. Ye send the fighter hand to hand, armmighty, and the brave hero, Maruts with good horses.
