Men of greatness shone like the rocks; the Maruts, like winds, struck the towering hills. In that bay of waters they were often wrapped around, having bound the swelling breast with the strength of the roaring ones.
The Maruts (appear) radiant with lightning, leaders (of the rain), armed with weapons of adamant, blazing with the wind, the precipitators of mountains, the repeated distributors of water, wielders of the thunderbolt, roaring in concert, combining (to send rain), and of exceeding strength.
They gleam with lightning, Heroes, Casters of the Stone, wind-rapid Maruts, overthrowers of the bills, Oft through desire to rain coming with storm of hail, roaring in onset, violent and exceeding strong.
