येन॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय धा॒न्यं१॒॑ बीजं॒ वह॑ध्वे॒ अक्षि॑तम् । अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ तद्ध॑त्तन॒ यद्व॒ ईम॑हे॒ राधो॑ वि॒श्वायु॒ सौभ॑गम्
yena tokāya tanayāya dhānyaṃ1 bījaṃ vahadhve akṣitam asmabhyaṃ taddhattana yadva īmahe rādho viśvāyu saubhagam
By which (rite) you gave grain, seed unbroken, to the nurse's son—grant that to us: that share by which we win widespread prosperity, long life and good fortune.
With the same (goodwill) that you bestow imperishable grain-seed upon a son or grandson, bestow it upon us, for we ask of you life-sustaining and auspicious wealth.
Vouchsafe to us the bounty, that which we implore, through which, for child and progeny, Ye give the seed of corn that wasteth not away, and bliss that reacheth to all life.
