The Sun does not deny immortal wealth; the generous mother knows the herds' path. Rivers and streams like braided channels, the earth firmly supports, and the sky sustained them.
The sun distributes his radiance as it was a substance; the parent of the rays of light, (the dawn), knowing his approach, comes from the spacious (firmament); the rivers with running waters flow, breaking down their banks; the heaven is stable like a well-constructed pillar.
Surya hath spread his light as splendour: hither came the Cows' Mother, conscious, from the stable, To streams that flow with biting waves to deserts; and heaven is stablished like a firm-set pillar.
