pra tavyaso namauktiṃ turasyāhaṃ pūṣṇa uta vāyoradikṣi yā rādhasā coditārā matīnāṃ yā vājasya draviṇodā uta tman
I proclaim the vowed invocation of Purusha, invoking the distributor of treasure, the mover of air and light. She who is far-reaching and radiant, the dispenser of wealth and the mind’s inspirer, come near.
I offer adoration to the powerful and rapid Pūṣaṇ, and to (the powerful and rapid) Vāyu, who are both instrumental gators of the desire of wealth and of food, (who are both) distributors of riches.
I have declared this speech of adoration to mightiest Pusan and victorious Vayu, Who by their bounty are the hymns' inspirers, and of themselves give power as a possession.
