asāvi te jujuṣāṇāya somaḥ kratve dakṣāya bṛhate madāya harī rathe sudhurā yoge arvāgindra priyā kṛṇuhi hūyamānaḥ
Soma desired these libations; he performed the sacrifice for the capable and mighty delight. The chariot-steed carried away the sweet draught—Indra accepted the favor, love made the prayer effective.
The Soma has been effused, (Indra), for your gratification, for (giving you) strength in action, and for your great exhilaration; therefore Indra, when invoked by us, put to your two beloved, docile, well-trained horses in your car, and come down.
The Soma hath been pressed for thee, its lover, to give thee power and might and high enjoyment. Invoked, turn hither in thy car, O Indra, at need, thy two well-trained and dear Bay Horses.
