उप॑ व॒ एषे॒ वन्द्ये॑भिः शू॒षैः प्र य॒ह्वी दि॒वश्चि॒तय॑द्भिर॒र्कैः । उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ वि॒दुषी॑व॒ विश्व॒मा हा॑ वहतो॒ मर्त्या॑य य॒ज्ञम्
upa va eṣe vandyebhiḥ śūṣaiḥ pra yahvī divaścitayadbhirarkaiḥ uṣāsānaktā viduṣīva viśvamā hā vahato martyāya yajñam
These worshipful ones with their hymns adorn the sacrificial grass and thought with golden offerings at dawn. Dawn‑gowned, knowing all, they bring the universal rite to mortals.
Mighty Day and Night, to you, along with the adorable (deities) of heaven, I present (the oblation) with prayers delighting and explicit; knowing, like two sages, all (that is required), do you bring (it) to the worshipper for his sacrifice.
I speed to you with powers that should be honoured, with songs distinguishing Heaven's mighty Daughters, Morning and Night, the Two, as 'twere all-knowing: these bring the sacrifice unto the mortal.
