Yoke the air, make the chariot‑teams; call forth the god, the sage, the golden‑spotted ones. Let the seasons and waters and the town’s foremost obtain for us strength; may wives and minds be beneficent.
Prevail, (priests), by your prayers, on Vāyu, the divine, the fulfiller of desires, the adorable, to harness his chariot; may the light-moving accepters of sacrifice, the lovely and excellent wives (of the gods), come hither to our rite.
Bring hither him who yokes the car, your Vayu, who praises with his songs, the God and Singer; And, praying and devout, noble and prudent, may the Gods' Spouses in their thoughts retain us.
