May the foremost of you, O Ashvins, be invoked for the breath of Vāta, for the protector of chariot‑wheels and for prosperity. Or may the divine force of heaven, like a rampant flood, support us—press onward, sustainers.

I invoke you, Aśvins, the restrainers (of desire), for the acceleration ofyour chariot with the swiftness of the wind; (priests) offer praise and oblations to the celestial destroyer of life, to the accmplisher of the sacrifice.

You will I call to feed the car-horse, Asvins, with the wind's flight swiftest of those who travel: Or also to the Asura of heaven, Worshipful, bring a hymn as 'twere libation.
