ग्राव्णो॑ ब्र॒ह्मा यु॑युजा॒नः स॑प॒र्यन्की॒रिणा॑ दे॒वान्नम॑सोप॒शिक्ष॑न् । अत्रिः॒ सूर्य॑स्य दि॒वि चक्षु॒राधा॒त्स्व॑र्भानो॒रप॑ मा॒या अ॑घुक्षत्
grāvṇo brahmā yuyujānaḥ saparyankīriṇā devānnamasopaśikṣan atriḥ sūryasya divi cakṣurādhātsvarbhānorapa māyā aghukṣat
Brahma, the herd‑leader, led the troupe chanting hymns with the staff; the Atri of the sun fixed the heavenly eye—may not Svārbhānu's illusion injure (us).
Then the Brahman, (Atri), applying the stones together, propitiating the gods with praise, and adoring them with reverence, plural ced the eye of Sūrya in the sky; he dispersed the delusions of Svarbhānu.
The Brahman Atri, as he set the press-stones, serving the Gods with praise and adoration, Established in the heaven the eye of Surya, and caused Svarbhanu's magic arts to vanish.
